Hillel Montreal

Hillel Montreal is a Jewish student led organization that represents the needs of the diverse Jewish student population in Montreal. It is responsible and committed to creating a vibrant, innovative and exciting campus life for Jewish CEGEP and university students while also striving to create an atmosphere of openness where all students feel welcome and comfortable to actively participate in programming or attend events.

International Students Association (ISA)

The objective of this association is to foster a better understanding among all students at Macdonald, to represent the interest of foreign students on campus and to encourage multicultural activities. ISA is involved in helping foreign students, providing information on various countries and organizing one main multicultural event, International Night. Many other minor activities are held as well.

Judging Club

Membership to the Livestock Club is open to all students from Macdonald campus of McGill University. The main goal of the Livestock Club is to increase the opportunity to all MAC students in discovering and participating in our annual Intercollegiate Judging Competition. Taking part in the Livestock Club is a great way to make your mark and it allows you to meet people and learn more about livestock and crop judging. Mac Agro Ecology group

The Macdonald Agroecology Group is a student club that aims to provide students with opportunities to learn about sustainable agriculture. Every year MAEG organizes trips to local farms, invite speakers, and sends a delegation of McGill students to conferences including the Guelph Organic Conference in Ontario and NOFA in Vermont. Many other projects can be undertaken depending on the member’s interests.

Arts Club says Fine Arts = Feel fine while doing Art. If you consider it art, then we do too. Join us at Rec Nights to do acrylic painting, watercolours, pastels, silk-screening, beading, henna tattoos, paper maché, sculpting and even body painting! While you cook at Happy belly and jam with the Music club. No membership fees. Suggestions are always welcome.

Mac Astronomy Club

If you've ever been interested in places besides the Earth, the Mac Astronomy Club is probably a good place for you. We like to think of ourselves less as stargazers and more as trailblazers in the fields of astronomy...and believe us, there's a lot of fields that need our help. With (near) weekly sessions and a solid group of devoted friends, there's nothing missing from M.A.C except you! Mac Campus League of Lawn Sports

Croquet, bocce, badminton, wiffle ball, cricket, horseshoe pitching, frisbee, volleyball, kickball and lots of fun! The Mac League of Lawn Sports organizes sporting activities for students or staff interested in getting outside and playing some games. This group plays on the Mac fields, and we are always open to new members and suggestions for new games. Bring out the inner child in yourself and join this league for fun, lawn sports games! Mac Christian Fellowship (Mac CF)

We are a group of students and staff working towards the common goal of being disciples of Christ. Join us as we learn and grow in fellowship. We hope to provide the campus with a place of spiritual growth based on God’s word. We meet once a week for prayer, worship and discussion. Mac Community Collective Garden

Located south of the Eco residence, there are 64 garden plots for Mac students to grow their own vegetables during the summer. Tools, water and compost available for $10 per summer.

Mac Improv Club

The Mac Improv Club’s objective is to gather people who want to practice improvised theatre while having fun. During our weekly meetings, we create on-stage crazy stories, perfecting the art of improv and mainly, we enjoy this great opportunity to let us go, be who we are, without worrying about the critics. Come and join us, it is free and open to everyone, from total beginners to improv gurus.

Mac Indian Students Association

Mac Indian Students Association (MISA) is a small and happy family creating a home for all undergrads, grads and faculty members of the Macdonald campus. The mission of this association is to spread and promote the diversity, culture and tradition of INDIA. The main goal is to make everyone understand the Indian culture, to foster and strengthen the friendship between fellow students, faculty and all other students inside and outside Mac. Mac Moves

Mostly known under the Mac Talent Show, the Mac Moves are made up of dynamic students & teachers who are in charge of putting together the yearly Mac Talent show, where Mac students perform singing, acrobatic acts and more. This event takes place in the Ceilidh during the winter semester to raise money for causes at home and abroad. The auditions are held in mid-February. Mac Robotics Club

For students experienced with electronics, design and coding, or those just interested in learning, Mac Robotics is looking for members. We have several great projects planned this year working with Arduino, Lego and Raspberry Pi, and for those willing to test their skills, Mac Robotics participates in the annual ASABE Robotics Competition representing McGill University. Students of all skill levels are welcome. Some of our current projects include: automated hydroponics, the 2013 ASABE competition, battle-bots, and more!

MACappella

Founded in Fall 2013, MACappella is a collective of students from McGill’s Macdonald Campus who are united by the reciprocal passion for singing, held together by the ideal that voices in full harmony are better than a voice on its own, and inspired by the common goal of adding a little a cappella to every semester. Auditions are held at the beginning of the Fall semester each year and are open to everyone who thought, "yup, that's me," when they read this introduction.

Macdonald Campus Graduate Students' Society (MCGSS)

The MCGSS is the voice of graduate students on the Macdonald campus. Our primary objective is to provide a positive and enjoyable studying environment for graduate students on campus. We are for students, run voluntarily by students. There are eight executive members on the MCGSS council including environmental advisor. Elections for executive positions (if required) are held immediately after the Annual General Meeting in April, and are open to all graduate students on the Mac campus. MCGSS brings forward the concerns of graduate students at all levels of administration.

Macdonald Dairy Challenge Club

The North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge (NAIDC) allows students studying agriculture to apply theory and learning to a real-world dairy while working as part of a team. The NAIDC is a unique two-day competition among teams of four representing North American universities' Agriculture Management programs. The competition challenges those institutions to inspire their students with a high quality education - empowering them with the resources for real-world success.

Macdonald Eco-Education Afterschool Program

Join us, CEGEP, and local high school students in bringing sustainability education to the younger generation. We enter elementary schools bi-weekly with exciting school activities including lessons on vermicompost, the natural environment and renewable energy. This program was implemented at Mac in September 2010 and we're excited to have your input!
