As a student association, MCSS has an agreement with McGill that outlines the relationship between the two parties, including charges for space MCSS uses within the university (Ceilidh), use of McGill name and emblems, and any other matters pertaining to the two parties. Known as the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), this agreement gets updated every 5 years. The current agreement is found here:

The current agreement expires on May 31st, 2015 and MCSS and McGill have been negotiating the terms of the new agreement since January 7th, 2015. The new agreement cannot be ratified until it has passed a general vote by students; it is therefore of utmost importance that students be aware of the key issues and why they are so important to negotiate. Please contact the President, VP Internal, VP Finance, or Accounts Administrator or stop by the MCSS Counter to get the key information you need to critically evaluate the situation.
